Playground, foot- and basketball fields are across the road.

Walking : The Eastern cantons: 40.000 ha (98840 acres) of wood , 5.000 ha (12355 acres) of nature reserve, 2.500 km (1555 miles) walks, all with

sign-posts. Several walks start at the hotel. Guided walks also possible.

Cycling : Bikes can be rented at less than 5 km from the hotel

Cycling tours up to 140 km. Short trips (11-24 km) in the neighborhood,

sign-posted, for thematic or cultural trips. Special attention for the Ravel,

a cycling path on an abandoned railway-line: Waimes – St. Vith.

This former railway passes next to the hotel, and goes by traffic-free roads,

and other green ways that have right of way over cars.

Trips with carriage, or hooded cart : < 5 km

Open air swimming pools : < 10 km

Langlauf and skiing : Circuit and hiring : < 15 km

Motorbikes: Possibilities are unlimited, here you can take a ride,

relaxed and safe.To the North: the beautiful region of the “Hautes Fagnes”

To the East: Germany, and the lovely little town of Monschau

To the South : Burg Reuland. Westerly : Marche en Famenne.
